Your team can gain so much experience by playing European hockey. Each year, we are aware of Festivals taking place in various Countries throughout UK and Europe.  

 

Included in our price are two hockey fixture arrangements, which consists of either friendly matches or entry into an International hockey Festival.  Most hockey teams can participate in hockey Festivals without incurring any additional expenses, although some hockey Festival organisers do charge a small fee to cover their costs, which are often payable locally.

In addition, some major hockey Festivals charge teams a registration fees, although we can advise you of this well in advance. European qualifying birth dates are different from those in England, Scotland and Wales and we will place your team into the age section permitted by the host Countries rules and which suits your team’s standard and ability.

Hockey Festivals can take up the whole day and are played in groups of between four and ten teams. If your team is successful in their category, most competitions then stage play off knockout matches to gain a place at the Final.

 

Friendly Hockey Matches: Many teams prefer to play friendly matches whilst one tour and this can be arranged at all our destinations at most times of the year. Playing friendly matches allows your team more free time in resort to enjoy visits to theme parks, famous cities and places of interest.

 

One Day Hockey Festival & One Friendly Game: If you are looking for a one-day hockey Festival and one friendly hockey match during your stay, this is a perfect combination. The hockey Festivals take place during weekend periods and will take up most of the day, whilst your friendly hockey matches will give your members free time in resort for excursions. 

 

Two Day Hockey Festivals: We have a selection of large two-day events taking place in France, Belgium, Holland & Germany. These events take place during a weekend and can attract up to 30 teams. At some of these hockey Festivals, you maybe expected to be at the venues for most of the day and often they have parties at night. Should you wish to visit places of interest, famous cities or theme parks, we recommend a four-night stay at your resort (available Easter), which will leave you a free day for excursions.
