About GothenburgGöteborg - the Swedish name of Gothenburg - Sweden’s second largest city, is undergoing a transformation from industrial seaport to contemporary cultural and international sports venue - perfect for that football tour. One of the best ways to get to know the city is through the Gothenburg Pass, which provides entry to a host of attractions as well as free public transport, on buses, trams, trains and archipelago boats to all football teams whilst on tour.
Perhaps the most surprising change in Gothenburg is in its restaurants and other eateries. The city has gained an international reputation for innovative cuisine using local produce, mainly north Atlantic fish and shellfish.
Liseberg in central Gothenburg is Northern Europe´s largest and most beautiful amusement park, and one of Sweden´s most popular attractions of any kind.
Gothenburg has built a bright new global reputation as one of Northern Europe´s most exciting and above all enjoyable places for a football tour. Gothenburg is a friendly and pleasant city of convenient size, where most of the many sights and attractions of international magnitude are located within easy walking distance, as are most shops, restaurants and cafés.
