The capital of Spain, located in the heart of the peninsula has a population of over three million. A cosmopolitan city, a business centre, headquarters for the Government, Spanish Parliament and the home of the Spanish Royal Family, not to mention home to the infamous Real Madrid!

The city is characterized by intense cultural and artistic activity and a very lively nightlife. Visitors must keep in mind the late dining hours; restaurants do not tend to open until eight or nine o'clock.

You can take your choice among several nightclubs both in the city centre and on the out-skirts which have cosmopolitan floorshows. Many night establishments are open until the early morning hours so a fixture played in the early evening could be a wise choice.
