European Rugby Tours & Tournaments Whilst on tour, you can choose to play friendly rugby matches or take part in an International rugby tournament. On some tours you can do both.
Rugby tournaments are played according to the IRB and host country rules and regulations. Occasionally, the rugby tournament organisers may introduce additional rules with permission from their RFU.
Playing friendly matches, rather than rugby tournaments, allows your team more time to visit famous rugby stadiums, beautiful cities, theme parks and other places of interest whilst on tour.
We have both adult and youth rugby tournaments available, however qualifying birth dates are different to those based in England, Scotland & Wales. We will enter your team into the appropriate age section which suits their standard and ability. -
Travel to Your Rugby Tournament The price of your European rugby tour or tournament includes the coach & ferry via Dover to Calais, taking just 70 minutes with either Seafrance or P&O. With our adult and youth rugby tournaments, we will collect you from your rugby club and transfer you directly to your destination. The coach & driver will stay with you for the duration of your rugby tour.
If required, we can arrange for your club to travel to your European rugby tournament via Portsmouth, Harwich, Hull, Newcastle or Rosyth, however a ferry supplement will apply. If you live nearby these ports, please call us because we have some money saving tips. Groups living more than 400 miles from their preferred port of exit will incur an additional supplement for the extra mileage and additional drivers who are legally required to operate your tour.
