About Ostend
OSTEND is well known for being Belgium's most visited coastal resort, hosting wide sandy beaches stretching for six miles and outstanding night-life which makes this seaside town one of Belgiums most visited destinations. In the town centre you will find a host of pavement cafés, late licensed bars and many nice restaurants most famous for their outstanding local seafood. Belgium is one of the worlds finest beer / lager producers and it goes without saying that you will be amazed by the amount on offer. Live bands often play in the main square and the nearby Kapellestraat complex offers good shopping.
Ostend attractions include: Excellent well-kept beaches, city of Brugge is located neabyl, Casino, the famous Wellington Racecourse, Europatoren Tower (100 mtrs high), Water Sports, Street Markets, 5-mile seafront promenade, only 45 minutes from Dover and outstanding night-life.
- Each resort is highly recommended for adult and vets rugby teams.
- Ostend is located just 45 minutes from Calais and Antwerp is less than two hours from the port.
- Fixtures can be organised in Belgium, France or Holland.
Rugby Festivals
Friendly Match ArrangementsPre-arranged festivals and friendly fixtures take place in Belgium or just over the border in The Netherlands. Each club have their own private grounds which include changing rooms and well maintained pitches with some clubs even having a clubhouse and bar. You will not play park rugby whilst on a Sports Tour.
AccommodationThe hotels which we utilise are located centrally and offer comfortable, clean facilities which all include en-suite bathrooms. Our guests prefer twin or triple accommodation but if you require double, quad or singles (charges usually apply) then it can be requested on your behalf.

Our regular and highly recommended hotel is the Royal Astrid, with its ideal location being just 50m to the beach and just a short walk from the center of the towns bustling centre. Each room is comfortably situated and has en-suite bathrooms, tv, radio and phone, indoor pool and boasts spa facilities.
