Cologne & Dusseldorf
DUSSELDORF is known to be one of the wealthiest regions of Germany. This stylish yet historic city with its location on the River Rhine is teeming with characteristic small cafes, restaurants, discos, and jazz clubs. Rugby Clubs visiting this beautiful City must go to the Hofgsarten and the Konigsallee. There are two famous landmarks in Dusseldorf, the 13th century St. Lambertus Church, with its amazing twisted spire, and the Alstadt with its Gothic Rathaus, in which has been called the ‘longest bar in the world’ due to being the home to over 200 bars. Another great attraction a couple of miles to the North of Dusseldorf is the Warner Brothers Movie World Theme Park, which offers a whole host of thrilling rides and shows, especially for the younger team members.
COLOGNE is overlookedby its magnificent Gothic Cathedral and is Germany’s fourth largest city which is very lively with much to offer, including the awe-inspiring Rhine Valley & its beautiful surrounding villages. There are also numerous museums, art galleries and restaurants, but for an amazing view of all the city you need to climb the telecommunications tower followed by gliding over the river Rhine in a cable car alternatively experience a boat trip on this famous river. Nightlife to be experienced in this busy city would suit any adult team.
