How the tennis competitions work:
When taking part in our pre arranged tennis competitions, we recommend playing “doubles”.
Depending on the number of players travelling from your tennis club, you will need to divide your clubs members into teams consisting of five, six or seven persons per team. Each team will then compete in men’s doubles, ladies doubles, mixed doubles or vets doubles with your best players being placed in “team A”. This also applies youth teams, academies and schools.
Once you have confirmed your preferred tennis formats and standard of play for each team, we will then match your teams against one of our preferred tennis clubs in the UK or Overseas.
As a typical format, each player will play their opposition once thus playing up to seven games of tennis in one day. The host club may include time limits per game, reduced number of sets, short deuces or alternative formats so everyone can play an equal amount of tennis.
