Adrenaline-filled rides include the Big Apple Coaster, Disko and the Floaty Boaty alongside plenty of places to eat and gardens to explore. Plus, entry wristbands give you unlimited access to rides for the day and can be brought at a discount over on the Pleasure Beach site.
Explored all this beach has to offer? Then head over to Gorleston-on-Sea or Hemsby Beach (Hemsby is a short walk from where you’d stay if you stayed with Sports Tours – winner!) or any of the countless others dotted along the Norfolk coast.
Burgh Castle
Step back in time all the way back to the Roman period with Burgh Castle!
If you want a relaxing walk or just want to take in the big-skies of Norfolk – this ancient monument’s only a short drive from the centre of Great Yarmouth and on Sundays from May until September – find free tours from 2pm.
Merrivale Model Village
You can explore over an acre of brilliant life-like miniatures mixed with classic villages, a space section and even Thomas the Tank Engine!

Joyland
If you want more fairground-esque bang for your buck after Pleasure Beach, then hop on over to Joyland – where their Super Snails have been since 1949! (there’s been a few refurbs since then).
