It’s all about girls’ football as we kick off the Blackpool Girls and Ladies Football Tournament – an action-packed weekend bringing together teams from across the country for an unforgettable football experience.
The tournament takes place at Fleetwood Town FC‘s official training ground, Poolfoot Farm, a first-class venue boasting outstanding pitches and elite facilities to provide the perfect stage for players to perform at their very best.
Our 1-day tournament is the ultimate opportunity to put your skills to the test, compete against quality opposition, and create lasting memories with your teammates. Off the pitch, make the most of your weekend by exploring everything Blackpool has to offer. From its famous seafront and iconic attractions to great places to eat and relax with your team, it’s the perfect destination for a football-filled weekend away.

Poolfoot Farm’s state-of-the-art facilities make for an unforgettable tournament weekender for players and supporters alike. There’s three top class grass pitches, two FIFA 2-star grade 4G pitches, four 5-a-side red cages, as well as an Air Dome, which houses an artificial grass pitch. Aside from the pitches, there is a pitch side bar, a 400-seater beer garden showing live football and an outdoor terrace dining area serving great food for the whole family!
3:00 PM: Check-in opens at your holiday park accommodation. Take time to settle in, meet fellow teams, and soak up the excitement as everyone arrives for an unforgettable football weekend.
6:00 PM: Blackpool has plenty of fantastic spots for a team meal – the perfect opportunity to fuel up, bond with your teammates, and get ready for tomorrow’s tournament.
The big day has arrived! It’s time to compete in the 1-day football tournament and give it your all on the pitch.
Once the final whistle blows, it’s time to celebrate! Medals and trophies will be presented by a special guest, with plenty of opportunities for photos as we recognise the day’s standout teams and players.
After the presentations, make the most of your evening by exploring everything Blackpool has to offer.

All tournaments are affiliated by the FA and played in line with FA Rules and Regulations.
Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group, in line with FA ‘Daily Playing Time’ regulations above.
We provide most of the equipment. However, feel free to bring extra items and we do ask that you bring balls for matches, training or casual play. Don’t forget your kit and, of course, your passion for the game!
We follow the rules and regulations set by the relevant governing bodies, including those for age groups, match duration, and the total match play time each day.
Yes! All players will receive a participation medal, and there will be winners and runners-up trophies in all competitive events. Every player’s effort will be recognised.
