U7 – U15 teams will take to the pitch for a 1-day tournament at Wymondham RFC. The venue boasts great pitches, a warm and welcoming clubhouse, changing rooms and toilets – everything you need for a day filled with terrific tackles, sensational tries, and a whole lot of laughter.

With your free day, explore Great Yarmouth’s vibrant beach front, enjoy the lively atmosphere of your holiday park, or bond with teammates over some friendly competition.

What to expect

4PM: Check in at your hotel accommodation, take time to settle in, and soak up the excitement! Families and teams will be mingling, sharing the buzz of the weekend ahead!

6PM: Enjoy a relaxed dinner at your accommodation or nearby (Great Yarmouth has plenty of great supper spots), grab a drink, and rest up for the fun and festivities ahead!

Use the day to soak up the fun of Great Yarmouth’s famous beachfront, amusement arcades, or relax at your holiday park. It’s the perfect chance to bond with teammates and enjoy some downtime before the big game.

All tournaments are sanctioned by the RFU and played in line with RFU Age Grade Regulations.

Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group, in line with the RFU ‘Daily Playing Time’ regulations above.

The number of matches and their duration depends on the number of teams in your age category. However, we aim to ensure each team plays the maximum number of permitted minutes per day as set by the relevant governing body.

We provide most of the equipment. However, feel free to bring extra items and we do ask that you bring balls for matches, training or casual play. Don’t forget your kit and, of course, your passion for the game!

All players will receive a participation medal and there will be winners and runners up trophies for U12 to U15 teams. Those attending the presentation will be awarded their medals by a special guest rugby player.

Yes please. There is parking onsite with a donation to the host club.

We ask that you bring RFU cards OR a photocopy of a passport for all players involved in the festival. Age checks may be carried at any point during the tournament.
