Rome is a beautiful city and home to both AS Roma and the Italia national team. With so many sights to see and good food to eat, make sure you make the most of your free time to take in as much as Rome has to offer.

Your group will be based in the city, in 3* hotel accommodation.

Please speak with us to confirm which age group you will enter, as European age groups differ to English age groups.

What to Expect

Day 1:

Morning: Depart the UK by air and land in Rome. You will be transferred to your hotel.
Afternoon: Arrive at the Borghesiana Centre for registration. Your qualifying matches will then start at 4PM!
Evening: Enjoy dinner in your accommodation or at a restaurant.

Day 2:

Morning: Your qualification matches will continue.
Evening: Return to your accommodation.

Day 3:

Morning: All teams will meet in Rome and parade through the city to St Peter’s Square for Easter celebrations.
Afternoon: Free time for sightseeing and excursions.
Evening: Return to your accommodation for an evening meal.

Day 4:

Morning: The final matches will take place today, followed by the awards ceremony.
Afternoon: Transfer back to the airport before flying home.
Evening: Return home to your club.

Things to do in Rome

When in Rome, do as the Romans do! The clichéd phrase really does ring true in Rome, which is one of the most famous cities in the world and home to some of the most famous historical landmarks. Walk the streets of Rome and take in the Colosseum, Roman Forum and the Pantheon.

After all your football and walking activities, make sure you enjoy the delicious pizza, pasta and gelato!

  • What time of year can we go on tour?

    April and May are the best times of the year due to the availability for fixtures, although we can arrange tours from late August to early June.

    Unfortunately, we cannot arrange tours from Mid-June to mid-August as we cannot guarantee fixtures for you.

  • What is the deposit schedule?

    The deposit schedule will depend on your specific tour arrangements, but usually involves a per person deposit, followed by your final balance. For flight tours, we will also ask for the cost of the flights at the time of booking. Please discuss with your tour consultant.
