Welcome to our BRAND-NEW West Sussex Easter Rugby Festival! Taking place at Havant RFC, U7–U15 boys, girls, and mixed will hit the pitch for an action-packed one-day tournament.

Havant RFC offers fantastic facilities including top-quality pitches, a welcoming clubhouse, changing rooms, and all the essentials for a day of epic tackles, brilliant teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

After the tournament, make the most of your Easter by exploring the nearby coastline, relaxing at your accommodation, or taking part in some friendly team bonding activities.

What to expect

4PM: Arrive at your accommodation and check in. Take a moment to settle in, meet other teams, and feel the anticipation build for an exciting weekend of rugby and camaraderie.

6PM: Enjoy a relaxed evening meal either at your accommodation or at one of West Sussex’s many local restaurants. Whether you’re grabbing a pub meal or a family-friendly dinner, it’s the perfect chance to unwind before the tournament begins.

Some teams will take to the pitch today, while others enjoy a well-earned day of leisure. Then on Day 3, it’s time for the remaining teams to compete while the rest relax and recharge.

From 8:30AM: Time to head to Havant RFC for team registration and tent set-up. Expect a flurry of flags, chants echoing across the venue, and a buzzing crowd as the action gets underway. Half the teams will play today, and half the teams will play tomorrow.

From 9AM: Let the matches begin! It’s a day filled with fast passes, fearless tackles, and fantastic team spirit.

Once the games have completed, gather together for the awards ceremony, where medals and trophies will be presented by a surprise rugby guest! It’s time to celebrate the weekend’s achievements and make memories with your teammates, families, and coaches.

Today, it’s all about balance – while some teams are back in action on the pitch others have the day to relax and explore everything Seal Bay has to offer.

Enjoy quality time with teammates, friends, and family as you make the most of the resort’s attractions – from the indoor amusement arcade and bowling alley to the funfair and Splash Zone.

Grab a bite at one of the many restaurants or bars, pick up essentials at the on-site store, or unwind in the gym and Wellness Suite.

10AM: After a weekend of top-tier rugby, team bonding, and tons of fun, it’s time to check out and begin your journey home – with bags full of kit and heads full of memories.

All tournaments are sanctioned by the RFU and played in line with RFU Age Grade Regulations.

Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group, in line with the RFU ‘Daily Playing Time’ regulations above.

We follow the rules and regulations set by the relevant governing bodies, including those for age groups, match duration, and the total match play time each day.

Yes! All players will receive a participation medal, and there will be winners and runners-up trophies in all competitive events. Every player’s effort will be recognised.

We provide qualified referees and umpires for all our Football and Netball events. For Rugby events, referees are provided for most age categories.

The booking process is simple:

  1. Choose your trip with your Tour Consultant, who will provide you with a detailed itinerary and pricing.
  2. A £320 deposit (£40.00pp x 8) is required to secure your place and accommodation.
  3. Once paid, we’ll hold your trip details for 3 weeks, allowing you time to confirm numbers, gather outstanding £40.00pp deposits, and finalise accommodation preferences.
  4. After 3 weeks, we’ll need you to complete the booking form to confirm your details. Our team will be happy to assist you with this.
