Join us for an unforgettable football weekend at our Blackpool Mid May Football Tournament, part of the ever-popular Fleetwood Town Cup. Designed for U8–U15 boys’ teams, this exciting 1-day tournament brings together clubs from across the UK to compete at Fleetwood Town FC’s official training complex, Poolfoot Farm.
Play on outstanding, professional-standard pitches used by Fleetwood Town’s academy and first-team setup, giving every player the opportunity to experience football in a first-class environment.
With your accommodation based in the vibrant seaside resort of Blackpool, you’ll also have time to experience everything the town has to offer. From the iconic Blackpool Tower and thrilling rides at Pleasure Beach to traditional seaside attractions, arcades and great places to eat, there’s plenty to enjoy before and after the football.

Poolfoot Farm’s state-of-the-art facilities make for an unforgettable tournament weekender for players and supporters alike. There’s three top class grass pitches, two FIFA 2-star grade 4G pitches, four 5-a-side red cages, as well as an Air Dome, which houses an artificial grass pitch. Aside from the pitches, there is a pitch side bar, a 400-seater beer garden showing live football and an outdoor terrace dining area serving great food for the whole family!
Again in 2026, we’ll be heading back to nearby Thornton-Cleveleys FC. Only a stone’s throw away from Poolfoot Farm, there’s four new 11-a-side pitches and a fantastic club house!
3:00 PM: Check-in opens at your holiday park accommodation. Take time to settle in, meet fellow teams, and soak up the excitement as everyone arrives for an unforgettable football weekend.
6:00 PM: Blackpool has plenty of fantastic spots for a team meal – the perfect opportunity to fuel up, bond with your teammates, and get ready for tomorrow’s tournament.
With the tournament taking place on Sunday, today is your chance to make the most of everything Blackpool has to offer.

Teams will compete throughout the day in the Blackpool Football Festival, with exciting matches, great competition, and plenty of memorable moments on the pitch.
Following the final matches, join us for the Presentation Ceremony, where medals and trophies will be awarded by a special guest. Celebrate the achievements of every team, capture memorable photos, and enjoy the fantastic festival atmosphere.

All tournaments are affiliated by the FA and played in line with FA Rules and Regulations.
Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group, in line with FA ‘Daily Playing Time’ regulations above.
We provide most of the equipment. However, feel free to bring extra items and we do ask that you bring balls for matches, training or casual play. Don’t forget your kit and, of course, your passion for the game!
We follow the rules and regulations set by the relevant governing bodies, including those for age groups, match duration, and the total match play time each day.
Yes! All players will receive a participation medal, and there will be winners and runners-up trophies in all competitive events. Every player’s effort will be recognised.
