Carve memories into the seaside sunshine at our junior 2-day football tournament at Fleetwood Town’s official training base, Poolfoot Farm – and due to huge demand, the brilliant facilities of nearby Thornton-Cleveleys FC are back in 2024 as well!
You’ll go shoulder to shoulder with teams from across the country as you contest the Fleetwood Town Cup, with the 2024 event taking place over the late May bank holiday, so there’s often no rush for families to return to work and school! And when you’re not on the pitch, there’s plenty of time to explore the seaside attractions on offer in Blackpool.

Poolfoot Farm’s fantastic facilities make for an unforgettable tournament weekender for players and supporters. There’s 18 4G and grass pitches, a pitch-side bar, a 400-seater beer garden showing live football and an outdoor terrace dining area serving great food for your friends, family and whole squad!
Again in 2024, we’ll be heading back to nearby Thornton-Cleveleys FC. Only a stone’s throw away from Poolfoot Farm, there’s four new 11-a-side pitches and a fantastic club house in what was a great addition to the ‘Fleetwood Town Cup’ in 2023 and promises to be again in 2024!

All tournaments are affiliated by the FA and played in line with FA Rules and Regulations.
Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group, in line with FA ‘Daily Playing Time’ regulations above.
What to Expect
Day 1: There’s loads to see and do in Blackpool, take full advantage of your arrival day!
Day 2: Get fired up ready for your first morning or afternoon of matches! Enjoy the rest of the day and evening lapping up the sights of this seaside town.
Day 3: Enjoy a second day of matches. Then it’s time to celebrate at the presentation ceremony – with a surprise celebrity guest!
Day 4: It’s home time, but not before a stroll along the seafront and a bag of fish and chips perhaps!

Where is the tournament venue?
The venue is held at Poolfoot Farm – Butts Road, Thornton-Cleveleys FY5 4HX.

How many games will we play?
Each team will play up to 7 games per day – the duration of the games depends on the number of teams in each age category. However, each team will play up to the maximum number of minutes per day, as stipulated by The FA.

What catering options are there?
The Crossbar offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar snacks. There is also The Hatch which offers fast food options along with hot and cold refreshments.
