Are you ready to gather your club, family and friends for an unmissable Netball Tournament Weekend in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth? Open to U11s to U16s as well as a Ladies Open (17+) category, it’s the ultimate opportunity for your club to connect, develop friendships, and create unforgettable memories – all while competing against other clubs from across the nation!
Aside from the netball action you’ll find face painters, food stalls and music to create a fantastic weekend for all. After an exhilarating day, unwind at Hemsby Beach Holiday Park, featuring an indoor swimming pool, sports courts, arcades and playgrounds. And when the sun begins to set, the party begins, with evening entertainment including a fancy-dress party on Saturday evening.
With the roar of the crowd, the tension in the air, and the spirit of friendly competition, our Great Yarmouth Netball Tournament is set to be an experience that nobody will forget!

Junior teams, get ready for an unforgettable netball tournament experience at Lynn Grove Academy!
Their top-notch facilities, featuring four outdoor netball courts and an indoor sports hall, will set the stage for an exciting day of competition.
From face painting to music and delicious food, this venue offers an extraordinary experience like no other. Bask in the lively atmosphere – this location is ready to ignite a sense of camaraderie for all.
And with our exciting NEW addition of a Ladies Open category, another epic tournament venue location will soon be revealed!

All matches are played in line with England Netball Rules.
Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group, in line with the advisory ‘Daily Playing Time’ above.
Umpires will be provided by Sports Tours for all matches.
What to Expect
Day 1 (Friday)
There’s loads to see and do in Great Yarmouth, take full advantage of your arrival day!
Day 2 (Saturday)
Get fired up for the first rounds! Each age category will be allocated either a morning or afternoon slot for the first rounds of the tournament, giving you the rest of the day to enjoy lapping up the sights of this seaside town. As the evening draws in, the party gets started as all guests are invited to join the fancy-dress party in the main bar – a great way to celebrate a fantastic weekend away!
Day 3 (Sunday)
Scores are in from day 1, results have been calculated and now it’s time to compete for the Plate or Cup. The day will culminate with the semi-finals and finals before celebrating everyone’s achievement at the awards presentation with medals for every player and plates and cups for all the winners and runner up clubs. Not to mention, a surprise netball star! And, all good things must come to an end, as it’s time to head for home.

If you’ve opted for an additional night then enjoy another day of fun exploring Great Yarmouth!

2-day tournament entry. Sports Tours will provide umpires for all tournament matches, so teams don’t have to worry about bringing their own!

Where is the tournament venue?
The venue is held at Lynn Grove Academy, which is approximately a 20 minute drive from Hemsby Holiday Park.

How many games will we play?
Day 1 will consist of first rounds where you will play every team in your age category. This will be up to 90 minutes of match play (max 9 games on Sat). All teams will get further game time on Day 2 as they play for the Plate or Cup.

How can we check our fixtures and scores?
We use an online Fixtures and Score Centre and will provide you with the link to this in the Event Information Pack which you will receive on the run up to the even weekend.
