Our Great Yarmouth Girls Football Tournament will see teams from across the UK go toe-to-toe in an electric 1-day tournament! Explore new tactics, network with other teams, and reignite your passion for football like never before! Unforgettable people, unforgettable plays – this is the weekend for it!

The Great Yarmouth Girls Football Tournament runs over a weekend in mid-May, and you’ll play up to 7 football matches across Saturday and Sunday in what promises to be an unforgettable footballing weekender.

All tournaments are affiliated by the FA and played in line with FA Rules and Regulations.
Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group.
What to Expect
Day 1: Arrival’s day! Get checked in, kick back and enjoy Friday evening at your leisure!
Day 2: Half of the age categories will play their football on the Saturday, whilst the other have can enjoy the holiday park and explore Great Yarmouth! In the evening, everyone can enjoy a full entertainment programme at Hemsby Beach!
Day 3: It’s time to swap – all other age categories who had Saturday at their leisure will play their football on the Sunday, whilst teams who played on Saturday can enjoy Great Yarmouth at their leisure! After the awards presentation, teams can either head home, or choose to stay for an extra night.
Day 4: It’s home time (for those who booked an extra night!)

Do you provide referees?
Of course – all our referees are qualified.

What I.D do we have to bring for the players?
We ask that you bring Club/League cards OR a photocopy of a passport for all players involved in the tournament. Age checks may be carried at any point during the tournament.

What footwear should players wear?
Pitches are played on either grass or the 3G all-weather pitch, so it is recommended to bring both studded and plastic/rubber moulded boots.

Can we access the site before check-in?
Of course – guests are welcome on the park before check in.

Is bed linen provided or do we have to bring our own?
Linen is provided but beds will not be made (a nice task for the kids!).

Can we bring dogs?
Whilst dogs are permitted in pet friendly units at Hemsby Beach Holiday Parks, unfortunately no dogs are allowed onsite at the tournament venue.
