Office Closure
We are keen to support the Government as much as we can in its efforts to halt the spread of COVID-19 and therefore we have taken the decision to close the office to support social distancing efforts.
This is a considerable operational challenge for us and we ask for your patience please, as there may be some disruption to our normal service levels.

Email is the best way to contact us during this period. If you wish to contact someone specific and have their direct email address, then please use this as all staff will be receiving emails.
If your enquiry is more general, then please simply email us at info@sports-tours.co.uk

General Advice for Tours and Events

Thank you for your patience whilst we ascertain our position as a result of the effects of the Coronavirus, COVID-19. These are uncertain times, and the travel industry is under extreme pressure to react to what is an unprecedented and fast-paced, developing situation, with many organisations at risk.

We wish to inform all our groups of the sheer disappointment that many of our future tours and events may well be adversely affected by the current crisis. We are extremely proud of the events that we produce and understand the many benefits they have for youth sport and the individuals involved. At Sports Tours we will continue to work tirelessly to put on as many of our tours and events as possible, but understand that this may now not include the full schedule.

Guidance and Updates on our Future Tours and Events

Guidance, advice and decisions from the Government, regulatory bodies and our suppliers are changing extremely quickly, with new announcements being made daily. Because of this we cannot give an update on all our future tours or events at this time. Instead, we will be assessing the feasibility of each tour and event individually nearer to departure dates, so that we are using the most up to date information.

Our Team will be in contact with Group Leaders at least 7 days prior to your tour departure or event start date, advising on the current status of your tour and the next steps available to groups.

We kindly ask if your tour or event booking is due to take place in advance of 7 days that you await further information from our team. We will be in touch as soon as we have new information and will be keeping this section of our website updated with any developments.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued patience at this difficult time.

All International Tours Departing 17th March – 16th April 2020

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) now advises British people against all non-essential travel worldwide. This advice took effect immediately on 17th March and applies initially for a period of 30 days.

If your tour is scheduled to depart during this period, we will be in contact shortly to advise you of your options.

Please be patient while we do this. Discussions are taking place between the travel industry bodies and the Government about how the industry needs to respond to the current crisis. Consequently, we have been advised to wait for further guidance before making any decisions on how to process tours which will no longer be taking place. We are expecting advice to be issued at some point during the week commencing 23rd March and will be in contact in due course.

  • South Dorset Rugby Festival (3rd – 6th April 2020)
