Ghent Rugby Festival – Belgium

If you’re looking for your classic rugby festival with a party atmosphere based in a city jam-packed with medieval churches, restaurants, boat tours, countless variations of beer and hot waffles topped with ice cream, then the Ghent Rugby Festival is your stand out.
Age groups are U17 and U19 with a veteran tournament included, all with IRB Rules stipulated. You can stay in the city itself, nearby Antwerp or if a young group, can enjoy the thrills and spills of Center Parcs De Haan on the beach around an hour’s drive away.
Top Tip: A perfect combo of rugby and socials, there’s a party Friday, Saturday and Sunday night!
Hilversum International Youth Rugby Festival – The Netherlands
Fri 29th Mar – Mon 1st Apr 2024 with packages from £485
If you’re looking for a well-established festival with deep roots in the European rugby scene, where over 80 teams attend each year from the UK and Northern Europe, Hilversum International Youth Rugby Festival is right up there with the best.
U7-U17 boys teams are welcomed (with a league format under IRB rules) where a cracking festival atmosphere is created by the host, Hilversum RFC. There’s food, drinks, lots of pitches and accommodation can be either located in nearby Amsterdam or Center Parcs.
Top Tip: Amsterdam is around 20-30 minutes by train or car – so you can fully explore Holland’s capital when away from the pitch.

France RWC Legacy
Fri 29th Mar – Mon 1st Apr 2024 with packages from £485
Welcome to the Rugby World Cup Legacy in France! This festival aims to build on the international impact the upcoming 2023 World Cup will inevitably bring!
Taking place in March 2024 outside Lille, you’ll be tracing the steps of the English national team as it’s where they’ll be based during the RWC. And to give a true international tournament feel – much like the World Cup – spots offered to teams from each country will be limited.
An under 14 event not to be missed and a real taste of international rugby!
Top Tip: Aiming to develop the legacy left by the RWC 2023, pro coaching is included in your package and takes place the day before the tournament.
Portugal Youth Rugby Festival
Fri 5th – Mon 7th April with packages from £649
We’ve saved our biggest pick until last. With over 100 international teams and over 3,000 players attending each year (some from Argentina and New Zealand), it’s easy to see why the Portugal Youth Rugby Festival is branded as ‘the greatest youth rugby tournament in Europe’.
Age groups range from U13, U15, U17 & U19 for boys and U15 and U19 for girls, with the event based in the University Stadium complex in Lisbon, so first-rate facilities are guaranteed! There are 8 brilliant grass pitches, 17 countries represented and 300 rugby matches played.
Quite the impressive rugby experience.
Top Tip: You’ll be based in Lisbon, one of Europe’s safest and most exciting and modern cities. When not playing, you can enjoy the vast array of things to see and do there.
