Hamburg is a beautiful city and is a great choice for your next football tour. You can experience a harbour tour on the River Elbe, browse the shops in the Mönckebergstraße or discover the historic Speicherstadt, with many special buildings and popular leisure activities such as the Hamburg Dungeon and Miniature Wonderland. The older age groups might want to visit the notorious Reeperbahn!

Hamburg is the location of Germany’s biggest youth football tournament, the LAOLA Cup – over 250 teams will enter in U9 to U19 Boys and U12 to U19 Girls age groups. You will play at Hamburg SV’s Academy and stay in hostel or hotel accommodation, with the chance to visit HSV or FC St. Pauli and enjoy Hamburg throughout the week!

What to Expect
Day 1: Arrive in Hamburg and check in for the tournament from 14:00. Dinner will take place from 17:00 before the Opening Ceremony at 19:30.
Day 2: The tournament begins with Group Stage matches from 09:00. Dinner will take place at 18:00 with the evening free for your leisure activities.
Day 3: The tournament continues with Group Stage matches from 09:00. Dinner will take place at 18:00 with the evening free for your leisure activities.
Day 4: Your final group matches continue from 09:00, before finals. Dinner is again at 18:00 with the Award Ceremony and LAOLA Party from 19:30.
Day 5: Time to pack up and go home!
